The Burcam drill pump is designed for use with an electric drill to empty aquariums, water beds and home appliances, and is suitable for non-flammable liquids. The inlet and outlet are garden hose compatible for easy hook-up. Prior to use, 1/2 tsp of vegetable oil must be put into the inlet and then a suction hose can be attached (maximum length 4 feet). The discharge hose (maximum 20 feet) is attached next and the two hoses must be filled with water to prime the pump. The pump must be held to prevent spinning and the maximum RPM for the drill is 2500 RPM. The capacity is up to 200 US GPH.
