Ideal 8-Range AC/DC Voltage Indicator

The IDEAL AC or DC voltage indicator is an auto indicating tester that indicates the voltage level in predetermined steps via integral leads. Voltage is indicated by a series of neon lights which illuminate in series as voltage levels increase in value. The tester auto selects AC or DC voltage from 24 to 600 AC and 12 to 600 DC, indicates DC polarity and provides a high voltage warning by illuminating a PPE warning light when voltage exceeds 36 V AC or DC. The back of the meter has built-in 2-position dual probe holder, the lower position allows for probe storage, the higher position allows for and testing or measurement holding the meter and secured probe in one hand and the probe in the other hand, or for both probes to be secured in the tip while conducting outlet testing. The meter has a hanging strap mount (compatible with all other IDEAL meters with this feature) that allows for a hanging strap (sold separately) to be attached to the meter so it can be hung from a nail, screw, or magnetic surface. This meter features a high-voltage warning, automatic AC or DC voltage indication, and DC polarity detection. UL Certified CAT III 600 V, 0-600 V AC or DC. Built-in probe tip holder and hanging strap clip allows safer, easier measurement. Integral probe holders allow insertion of probes directly into an outlet. IP 42 Rated.
